UFPCC Bursary Information
UFPCC BURSARY
The UFPCC bursary has been created to provide financial assistance to biological/adopted children and grandchildren, of United Foster Parents of Canada (UFPCC) members, that attend a full-time post-secondary institution.
James (Jim) Mallon BURSARY
In order to honour Jim's two major commitments in life, the Board of the UFPCC has directed all funds donated to the UFPCC, in Jim's name, towards this bursary. Children and grandchildren, of the United Foster Parents of Canada (UFPCC) members, that attend a full-time post-secondary institution and studying in the educational field are eligible.
Bursaries will only be awarded if the fund has sufficient monies, as per the policy.
Bursary Requirements:
All Applications are due at the UFPCC office by May 31, each year.

Proof of registration to the post-secondary institution is due at the UFPCC office by August 31, 2017.
Proof can take the form of a timetable, part or whole payment, or OSAP approval documentation. These documents must be for the fall of the coming
academic year only.
Selection of successful applicants for the UFPCC and the James (Jim) Mallon BURSARY, will be done by random draws, and that will take place at UFPCC September Board Meeting.
Bursaries will be distributed in the fall of each year.
